Filosofi Lebah Lebah  adalah binatang kecil yang sangat istimewa. Lebah  diciptakan Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa banyak memberi manfaat bagi manusia. Di antara manfaatnya adalah madu. Tak hanya itu, perilaku hewan kecil ini harusnya menjadi cerminan akhlak bagi manusia sejati. Perhatikanlah kehidupannya. Ada banyak manfaat yang bisa diambil hikmahnya dari  lebah . Pertama, lebah hanya menghisap saripati bunga. Ia hanya mengambil yang inti dan membiarkan yang lain. Lebah tahu, yang menjadi kebutuhannya hanyalah saripati, bukan yang lainnya. Ini mengajarkan bahwa setiap manusia harus mengambil sesuatu yang baik dan halal. Sebab, mengambil hak yang lain hukumnya adalah haram. Kedua, lebah menghasilkan madu. Ia memberi manfaat bagi manusia. Ini pelajaran bagi kita semua. Madu berasal dari saripati bunga dan baik, maka keluarnya pun baik. Sesuatu yang halal, keluarnya halal pula. Dan, ia banyak memberi manfaat bagi orang lain. Ketiga, lebah tidak merusak. Di mana pun ...

Ibu Dengan Satu Mata Ibuku hanya memiliki satu mata. Ketika aku tumbuh dewasa, aku membencinya karena hal itu. Aku benci perhatian tak diundang yang aku dapatkan ketika berada di sekolah. Aku benci bagaimana anak-anak lain menatapnya dan memalingkan muka dengan jijik. Ibuku bekerja dengan dua pekerjaan untuk menafkahi keluarga, tetapi aku justru malu dengan keadaannya dan tidak ingin terlihat sedang bersamanya. Setiap kali ibu saya datang untuk mengunjungi saya di sekolah, rasanya aku ingin dia menghilang. Aku merasakan gelombang kebencian terhadap wanita yang membuat saya menjadi bahan tertawaan sekolah. Pada suatu waktu, ketika aku ingin meluapkan kemarahan ekstrim, aku bahkan pernah mengatakan kepada ibu saya bahwa saya ingin dia mati. Aku benar-benar tidak peduli tentang perasaannya. Setelah aku tumbuh dewasa, aku melakukan apapun sekuat tenaga untuk menjauhkan diri dari ibuku. Aku belajar dengan keras dan mendapat pekerjaan di luar negeri...

The Elephant Rope Ketika seorang pria berjalan melewati sekumpulan gajah, ia tiba-tiba berhenti. Ia bingung dengan fakta bahwa makhluk-makhluk besar itu sedang diikat hanya dengan sebuah tali kecil yang terikat pada kaki depan mereka.   Tidak ada rantai, tidak ada kandang.   Jelas sekali bahwa gajah bisa melepaskan diri dari ikatan mereka kapan saja. Tetapi entah untuk beberapa alasan, mereka tidak melakukannya. Dia melihat seorang pelatih di dekatnya dan bertanya kepada pelatih tersebut. “Mengapa hewan-hewan itu hanya berdiri di sana dan tidak berusaha untuk melarikan diri?”   “Yah, ketika mereka masih sangat muda dan jauh lebih kecil, kami menggunakan ukuran tali yang sama untuk mengikat mereka. Be Good To Your Enemies Long ago, there lived a little boy named Sammy. He was a good boy. He was good in his studies, obedient to his parents, more intelligent than many other boys in his class and kind to everyone. Grown-ups as well as those junior to Sammy loved him very much. But that aroused jealousy in many other boys who longed to be as loved as Sammy.  Now there was another boy named Timmy who studied in the same class as Sammy. Unlike  Sammy, he was not good at studies and always liked to play during school hours. He  misbehaved with his parents, bullied his classmates and even ill-treated Sammy.  A Donkey and A Lapdog Once upon a time there was a farmer who owned a little dog that he keeps constantly by his side and a donkey, which lived in a warm stable and got plenty of fresh grain and sweet hay. But, unfortunately the donkey was not satisfied with his condition. "I slave all day long, hauling wood or pulling the cart to market while the dog sleeps on the master's lap and eats from his plate!," the donkey grumbled. "Perhaps, he thought, if he behaved like the dog, his master would reward him with the same life of ease. That very night, the donkey crept out of the stable and into the house where the farmer sat at supper. "First I'll frisk about and chase my tail, just as the dog does," thought the donkey. And he danced about the room, flinging up his hooves until the table toppled over and dishes went flying. "Now I'll sit on his lap!" said the donkey, and he put his hooves up on the master's chair. ...

The Ugly Tree Long, long ago, in a dense forest there were thousands of tall and beautiful trees. They were happy, but proud of themselves. Among them there also an ugly tree whose branches were badly twisted. Its roots had uneven curves. All the trees made fun of that ugly tree. “How are you, hunchback?” the other trees always shouted and their laughter made the ugly tree feel sad. But, he never raised a voice against them. The ugly tree thought, “I wish I were as beautiful as the other trees. Why did God do this to me? Neither can I provide shade to the travelers not can the birds make their nests on me. Nobody needs me.” One day, a woodcutter came to the forest. He took a look at the trees and said, “These trees are lovely. The Fox and The Grapes One afternoon a fox was walking through the forest and spotted a bunch of grapes hanging from over a lofty branch. “ just the thing to quench my thirst,” quoted the fox.  Taking a few step back, the fox jumped and just missed the hanging grapes. Again the fox took a tew paces back and tried to reach them but still failed.  Finally, giving up, the fox turned up his nose and said, “they’re probably sour anyway,” and prceeded to walk away. Fox and A Cat One day a cat and a fox were having a conversation. The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how clever she was. 'Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,' she said. 'I know only one trick to get away from dogs,' said the cat. 'You should teach me some of yours!' 'Well, maybe some day, when I have the time, I may teach you a few of the simpler ones,' replied the fox airily. Just then they heard the barking of a pack of dogs in the distance.
